Common Questions

What candidates usually ask us.

Will my current employer find out I'm exploring?
No. We never contact your employer, your references, or anyone in your network without your explicit consent. Your CV is never shared with a client until you've seen the role, approved it, and told us to proceed.
What do I need to send to start a conversation?
Your name, email and a CV is the minimum. If you'd rather start without a CV, book a confidential chat and we'll talk first. Either path works.
How long until I hear back?
Lucas or Vinnie reviews every submission personally. You'll have a reply from a named person within 48 hours, usually the same day.
I'm not actively looking. Should I still submit?
Yes. Most of our best placements come from candidates we've known for months or years before the right mandate arrives. Submitting early means we know you when the right role surfaces.
Do you work outside energy and infrastructure?
Rarely. We only take searches where we have genuine depth. If we can't help, we'll usually know another firm that can, and we'll introduce you.
Do you support international candidates?
Yes, for roles where clients sponsor or where you already hold Australian right to work. We maintain an active international candidate pool, especially for offshore wind, BESS and LNG specialisations.
Do you charge candidates any fees?
No. LUVI is paid by clients. You will never be charged a fee, at any stage, under any engagement model.
Will I be placed into a CRM and spammed with job alerts?
No. We don't run mass email campaigns. If we reach out, it's because we have a specific mandate we think fits your profile, and one of us has personally flagged you.
